You should have an interest in art, but courses are designed for all from beginner to expert.
Before the session
Remember and record a dream to work with.
During the session
- Reaching to your soul level through your dream with the help of short meditations.
- Focussing on a section of the dream in a visual way. To begin with quick drawings/paintings prompted by right side of the brain exercises.
- Experimentation with ‘Automatic’ drawing and painting skills with inspiration from the Surrealist artists.
- You will be encouraged to work step by step directing your projects through the making using drawing, acrylic painting or collage.
- You will receive help and advice catered towards your own levels and needs.
- Time to complete a finished painting/ drawing.
- Analysis of Dream Images
- Feedback and review. There will be a group discussion, which is friendly and positive yet informative and helpful for your future progression.
Tutor: Rupert Record
Rupert Record is a practising artist with a BA in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Art and an MA from the Royal Academy. He has exhibited widely in London and has taught at various institutions and at different levels.
In Rupert’s ‘Aura Portraits’ he sees, feels and senses the colours of each layer of the aura and reworks them so that they exist within the person’s image and within the background of the canvas. In his spirit portraits he allows the appearance to emerge by tapping into a higher consciousness while in a meditative or trance state.
